NOTE: The Toronto Humber Valley District Website Calender system is maintained by each individual lodge. Kingsway lodge events for example are maintained by Kingsway Lodge and not the District Committee members. The accuracy of the information contained within this calendar is only as good as the information input and maintained by the appropriate lodges. If you find incorrect information or missing events within the calendar, contact the appropriate lodge to have the event updated and/or corrected.

THVDW Calendar - Month View (default view)

    By default the calendar will display the Month view when you click the Calendar link at the top right hand corner of the site. If you do not see the Month view by default (because you have changed this view), you can change this view back to month under the 'View:' drop down box. (See feature number 2 in the picture below to find this drop down box.)

1. Current Month - Click either the left or right grey arrows to change the current month forward or back. You can also click 'Prev || Next' links in the bottom right hand corner of the calendar. The title to the right of the grey arrows shows you the month that you are currently viewing.
   
2. Current View - This box shows the type of view you are currently on. Select a view from this box to change from the default month view. You can select Day, Week, Month and Year which show each respectively. If you select the Events view, the calendar will show you a list of upcoming, past, or all events in a list format. You can also use the events view to search for events (see Events View below)
3. Calendars Filter - This box shows the current calendar you are viewing. By default the system shows you all of the calendars at the same time. To look for events occuring only at Kingsway Lodge, select the Kingsway Lodge Calendar, or the 'Toronto Humber Valley District Events' to view only district events. Select 'ALL CALENDARS & EVENTS' at the top to view all events.
4. Category Filter - Select a category from this box to show only events that match this criteria. By default, all categories are shown. For example, if you are looking for all of the official visitation dates, select official visitation from this drop down box to show only official visits. This box can be used in conjunction with the previous feature to view for example all 1'st degrees at Kingsway Lodge by selecting Kingsway Lodge Calendar in the Calendar box, and 1'st degree in the Category box. Remember to reset these to view all events again. IMPORTANT: although you can filter events by what is happening on that night, if the specific lodge you are looking for an event in has not updated the calendar on this site to specify that a degree is going on, it will not be listed. Again, the information provided on this calendar is only as good as the people who update it.
5. Printable View - Click this link in order to open a more printer friendly version of this calendar if you would like a hard copy. This view will open in a new window.
6. Current Day - Today's date will be highlighted in a darker grey than the rest. To view this specific day in the day view, click the link with today's date (or any other date) in the top left hand corner of each day.
7. Events - Events are coloured differently for each individual lodge. This is to help you locate a lodge event once you know it's colour. If there are notes available for this event, you can view these by hovering your mouse over the event. The event notes should popup. Click the event to view all details regarding the event. The event details will open in a new box. You can export specific events by clicking the export button in the event details box. The event will be added to Microsoft Outlook automatically when exported and opened.

8. Export Events - You can export all of the events listed in your current view by clicking this link. If you want to export only District events, or events for a specific lodge, ensure that only these events are showing in the current view. The THVD website will currently support most local calendar systems by using the General export option. You can also export to iCalendar if you use this system.

Events View (Searching for Events)

    The events view as pictured at right can be found by selecting it in the View box. (feature 2 above). When in this view you can sort the upcoming or past events in list form. You can also search events in this area.

1. Same as option 2 above. Select Month from this drop down box to get back to the month view.
2. The green icon beside the Event name shows you that this is a repeating event
3. Use this box to search for calendar events using keywords. This search box searches only calendar events, and does not include other site content. To search for News or other THVDW content, use the box in the upper right hand corner of the site.

Calendar RSS Feeds

    To subscribe to calendar feeds, click the link to the right of the calendar. This will open the calendar feeds page. From this page you can select multiple different RSS Feeds and other push options for webcal and iCalendar.
